Duncan Godwin - Managing Director
Born and brought up in Stafford, Duncan started work for the family building firm at 16 as an apprentice, studying at college for his City & Guilds in advanced brickwork and site management - winning the accolade of Young Apprentice of the Year.

He then became the youngest site manager for the firm, leaving in the late 90s to join Systems by Design as a Contract Manager, working on large blue-chip refurbishments including projects for clients one2one and Regus before establishing his own firm.  Duncan then joined the Eastlake team, becoming Project Director and is now Managing Director.

Married to Rachel, with daughters India and Grace, Duncan thoroughly enjoys family life, though is only too keen to escape to the golf course when time and girls allow.

Neil Sullivan - Operations Director

Neil spent much of his childhood living in Saudi Arabia and Greece before settling as a boarder at King’s School Rochester, Kent.  After completing hius studies he went to work at Lloyds of London for a year before joining the police force, serving in specialist units.  He then left the police after 4 years to pursue a career in Dubai, gaining experience as a site manager, then latterly project manager for several blue chip sites including Emirates, Nokia, Ford, British Airways and Tetrapack.

After 5 years Neil returned to England and worked as a sales manager for a northern based fit-out company before the call was received from efs.  As operations director he is now responsible for the efs project managers and their teams, based across the UK working on key accounts, and the development of process and procedures to constantly improve the high levels of services provided to clients.

Neil has enjoyed playing representative rugby at  both codes, and has recently moved to the South West with his wife Caroline and daughter Maisie - with a new arrival due to join the family in April.

Rob Lambert - Commercial Director

Stuart Barrie - International Operations Director

A born and bred Scot, Stuart started working life in the construction industry gaining a City & Guilds Certificate in Building Construction and a CITB certificate in Site Management & Site Safety. He then emigrated to Rhodesia, returning to marry June, before going back to Rhodesia to serve in the armed forces. He finally came home in ‘77 with 2 children, Russell and Corrine, with Laura arriving later.

Stuart started in the furniture and interior business in ‘81 with the first Steelcase dealership in Scotland as Installation Manager working with such clients as Scottish Equitable, Conoco, Motorola and IBM, before joining the Eastlake Group and helping to secure the RBS contract. Stuart is now heavily involved working worldwide, particularly for one of Eastlake’s major clients, which has given him the opportunity to travel extensively to Asia, USA and the Far East.

When not at work, Stuart spends time with family, does some DIY, enjoys playing with his new grandson and is looking forward to giving one of his daughter’s away later this year. A keen swimmer, he recently swam 25 miles for charity (but not all at once!).
